Bagian-bagian Kata

Nouns = kata benda. Contoh : pencil, table, book.

Pronouns = kata ganti. Contoh : i, you, they, we, she, he, it.

Verbs = kata kerja. Contoh : study, write, read, dll.

Adhectives = kata sifat. Contoh : clever, high, sweety, dll.

Adverbs = kata keterangan. Contoh : morning(waktu), mountain(tempat), highly(kualitas), dll.

Prepositions = kata depan. Contoh : in, at, front, dll.

Conjunctions = kata hubung. Contoh : and, but, not, dll.

Interjenctions = kata seru. Contoh : hai !

Article = pendahulu kata benda. Contoh : a, an, the.

PREFERENCES

1. Subject + like(s) + better than + noun

2. Subject + prefer(s) + noun + to + noun

3. Subject + would rather + verb1 + than + verb2

4. Subject + would prefer to + verb1 + rather than + verb1

Untuk bentuk past

- Subject + would rather have + verb3 + than + verb3

- Subject + would prefer to have + verb3 + rather than + verb3

Example:

A : How much is your salary?

B : i would rather not to tell you

A : could we go home now?

B : i would rather stay here than go home now.

IV. Must = have to / has to

Ex :

V. Kata sifat = modals + be

Ex :

I will be smart

I can be smart

I must be smart

I may be smart
